Data Maturity Pro is operated by Actionable Data Analytics Pty Ltd trading as Level Up Your Data ("we", "us"), based in Brisbane, Australia. We respect your privacy and handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
- Account details: your name, work email, company, job title, company size and country.
- Invitee details: name, email and job title entered when joining a colleague's assessment.
- Assessment content: assessment titles, organization names and your answers to questions.
- Your marketing preference (opt-in only).
- Your industry and whether you agree to contribute to anonymized benchmarks (opt-in only).
- Payment confirmation from Stripe. We never receive or store your card details.
- Basic technical information needed to run the service securely, such as server logs.
How we use it
- To provide the assessment, calculate results and produce reports.
- To show assessment owners who has joined and submitted, and combined team results. Individual answers are not shown to other participants.
- To generate recommendations: area scores and the answer options chosen are sent to an AI model to draft recommendations. We do not send your name or email for this purpose.
- To contact you about the service and, only if you opted in, to send occasional insights and offers from Level Up Your Data. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To understand demand for our consulting and training services.
Industry benchmarks
If you opt in when creating or editing an assessment, its scores are included in anonymized industry benchmarks. Benchmarks contain only aggregated scores (never names, emails, organization names or individual answers) and are only shown when at least 5 organizations contribute. You can withdraw consent at any time in the assessment's settings, and future benchmarks will exclude it.
Service providers
We use trusted providers who process information on our behalf:
- Clerk: sign-in and account security.
- Stripe: payment processing.
- Microsoft Azure: hosting and database storage.
- Microsoft Foundry: hosting of the AI model used to draft recommendations.
- Google: website analytics on our public pages.
- Cloudflare: website security and delivery, and Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies.
Some of these providers may store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States. We take reasonable steps to ensure they protect it to a standard consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.
Cookies and analytics
We use the cookies and local storage needed for sign-in, security and remembering your theme preference. On our public pages (the home, framework, pricing and legal pages) we also use Google Analytics, through Google Tag Manager, to count visits and see which pages people find useful. It sets analytics cookies, except for visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, where it runs without cookies. Pages inside the app, including your assessments and results, don't load it. We do not use advertising cookies.
Keeping information
We keep information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations. You can ask us to access or correct your personal information at any time.
Deleting your data
You can ask us to delete your account and your data at any time. To make a request, contact Level Up Your Data from the email address on your account and tell us what you want deleted. We check that the request comes from you before we act on it, and we email you when it's done.
When we delete your data, we remove:
- your account and profile, including your sign-in with our sign-in provider, Clerk;
- the assessments you own, with everyone's answers in them, your branding and any AI recommendations we stored;
- your name, email and answers in assessments you joined as an invitee. The owner's combined results are then worked out without your answers.
Some information is kept even after a deletion request:
- records we must keep by law, such as payment and tax records (Stripe also keeps payment records under its own policy);
- industry benchmark figures already published, because they are aggregated and can't be traced back to you. Future benchmarks won't include your data;
- copies of reports and exports that you or your team downloaded, which are outside our systems.
Contact and complaints
To make a request or complaint, contact Level Up Your Data. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
